This policy explains what personal information Gladden Wellness Salon & Spa collects when you use this website, message us or visit the spa, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have written it in plain English rather than legal shorthand.

1. Who we are

Gladden Wellness Salon & Spa is a massage and wellness spa at 1285, 13th Cross Rd, HAL 2nd Stage, Hoysala Nagar, Indiranagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560038. We are the people responsible for the information described in this policy.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

• Your name and mobile number when you book, enquire or fill in the booking form on this site.
• Your email address if you write to us by email.
• What you would like booked — the treatment, the day and the time slot you prefer.
• Health information you choose to share so a session is safe for you — injuries, allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy, recent surgery, or areas you want avoided. You never have to share this, but it helps us treat you properly and we may not be able to carry out a treatment without it.

Information collected automatically

• Standard analytics data when you browse the site: pages viewed, time on page, the device and browser you used, the approximate location worked out from your IP address, and the site or advertisement that sent you here.

We do not ask for and do not store card numbers, bank details or UPI credentials on this website. Payments are taken in person at the spa.

3. How we use it

• To confirm your booking and contact you about your appointment.
• To answer questions you send us.
• To keep a simple record of your visits, preferred pressure and anything we need to avoid, so the next session is better than the last.
• To understand how people use the site and which pages need improving.
• To measure whether our advertising works.
• To meet any legal or tax obligations we have.

We rely on your consent for the above, and you can withdraw it at any time by telling us. We will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked us to, and every such message will tell you how to stop them.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it, and Google Ads conversion tracking to see which advertisements lead to bookings. Both set cookies in your browser. They tell us things like how many people visited a page and how many clicked to WhatsApp — they do not tell us your name.

Google processes this data on our behalf. You can read how Google handles it at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, by adjusting your Google ad settings, or by blocking cookies in your browser. Blocking them will not stop you from using this site.

The location page embeds a Google Map, which Google may use to set cookies of its own.

5. Enquiries over WhatsApp

Most of our bookings happen over WhatsApp. When you message us, the conversation sits on WhatsApp’s servers as well as on our phone, and is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy in addition to this one. The booking form on this site does not send anything anywhere by itself — it simply opens WhatsApp with a message already typed, which you can edit or delete before sending.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

• Our therapists and front desk, so they can carry out your booking.
• Service providers who run parts of our operation — our website host, Google Analytics and Google Ads, and WhatsApp.
• Authorities, where the law requires it or where it is needed to protect someone’s safety.

7. How long we keep it

We keep booking and treatment records for as long as you remain a client and for up to three years after your last visit, so that we still have your preferences if you come back. Analytics data is retained by Google according to the settings on our account. Tell us to delete your details sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep them by law.

8. How we protect it

This site is served over HTTPS. Access to booking records and to our WhatsApp account is limited to the people who need it to do their job. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.

9. Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you and what we have done with it;
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
• delete your information where we no longer need it;
• stop using it, by withdrawing your consent;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to.

10. Children

Our treatments are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18 except where a parent or guardian has arranged a booking on their behalf and is present. If you believe we hold information about a child, tell us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Please check back occasionally.
